I know we were supposed to find examples of white papers. I found this website though thanks to google that shows how to actually layout a common white paper. I know in this class we don’t have to follow the norm but I thought it would be helpful to look at at.
After forcing myself to read the transcript, I actually enjoyed this one. Episode 355′s transcript was my worst nightmare. I found myself struggling to read it and it just didn’t catch my attention. But episode 405 got my attention from the very first sentence. “A friend of mine ran her own small business. It was just her and this guy, the bookkeeper. And she loved the bookkeeper.” This implies that the story had some romance to it and what girl doesn’t like to read a little romance here and there? I continue to love how This American Life is constructed. They tell you a story on top of another story on top of another. I like This American Life, period. It’s a great show to both read and listen to.
