Student Activists Versus the Corporate University

This reading wasn't as intense as the others. It proves a point though: we, as college students, are beginning to realize that we must act in order to bring about change. In order to do this, we need to go after the big name brands. We need to do this in order to make a point. Once these company's are "called out" the other smaller, less known, however, just as important company's will follow the leader. Students can make more of an impact, because there is more of our young generation who has the patience and energy to do so. But it's also like we said in class, it can't just be one person, one person cannot do it alone. It takes many people to be outraged aong with that one person in order to capture attention. This attention will spark interest and in and of itself, create change that others will want to be a part of.
