I just want to point out what I found most shocking about these horrible conditions. The thing that stuck out most to me was the tiny section of the letter in which the Disney Employees wished to express their concerns about the company. They did not want a huge raise. They did not expect to live like kings. They didn’t even want to lower their production rate so the work would be easier. They simply wanted to be able to feed thier families. They wanted only $.58 cents an hour for their work. They want to be able to clean up the plants, not only for better working conditions but so that the plants can be even more efficient. They don’t want to be sexually harassed at to work. Something that is a completely horrific idea here in the United States. They are entirely loyal to the Disney company. They only want their voices to be heard, and to be able to provide for thier families.
